7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

ATI and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies to operate essential website functions, maintain sessions and account access, remember preferences, protect website and payment security, understand website use, measure performance, improve content and navigation, evaluate communications and marketing, and support relevant advertising when used.

Cookies may be categorized as strictly necessary, functional, analytics or performance, and advertising or marketing.

You may be able to manage cookies through an ATI cookie-management tool or your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality. Additional information will be provided in ATI’s Cookie Notice.

8. Analytics and Advertising Technologies

ATI may use analytics services to understand how visitors use its websites, which pages receive attention, how visitors arrive, and how website performance can be improved.

ATI may also use marketing or advertising tools to measure campaigns or reach relevant audiences.

These providers may collect information through cookies, pixels, device identifiers, and similar technology. Their handling of information may be governed by their own privacy policies.

Where applicable law classifies certain advertising or analytics activity as a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising, ATI will provide applicable choices or process qualifying requests as required.

9. How ATI Discloses Personal Information

ATI may disclose personal information to service providers that support website and community hosting, payment processing, email delivery and marketing, customer relationship management, forms and document collection, scheduling, analytics, file storage, digital-product delivery, communications, customer support, accounting, security, fraud prevention, legal, insurance, and professional services.

ATI may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent; to complete a transaction or provide a requested offering; to administer an affiliate, partner, or authorized resale offer; to comply with law or legal process; to respond to a valid government request; to investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents; to protect ATI, its clients, users, or another person; to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or during a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of business assets.

Service providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their functions and may be subject to contractual or legal restrictions.

10. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

ATI does not sell personal information for money. ATI does not currently operate as a data broker or sell customer lists.

Certain analytics, advertising, or marketing activities may be classified as “selling,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some state privacy laws even when ATI does not receive money in exchange.

Where required, ATI will provide a method for eligible individuals to request an opt-out of qualifying activity. ATI will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

11. Sensitive Personal Information

ATI does not request sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for a disclosed business purpose, client engagement, legal obligation, security process, or authorized transaction.

Sensitive information may include certain government identifiers, financial information, account credentials, precise location, health information, protected classifications, or other information defined as sensitive by applicable law.

Do not submit sensitive personal information through a public form, community post, or general email unless ATI specifically requests it through an appropriate process.

When ATI receives sensitive information, ATI will use it only for an authorized purpose and apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information. ATI does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals for unrelated marketing purposes.

12. Client-Directed Data Processing

ATI may process personal information on behalf of a business, organization, or other client while providing approved operational, implementation, workforce, back-office, or support services.

In those circumstances:

  • The client generally determines why and how the information is processed.
  • ATI processes the information according to the client’s instructions and applicable agreement.
  • The client’s privacy policy may govern the information.
  • ATI may be restricted from responding directly to a privacy request involving client-controlled information.

If your information was provided to ATI by one of ATI’s clients, you may need to direct your privacy request to that client. ATI may forward the request or provide reasonable assistance as permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

Separate confidentiality, security, or data-processing terms may apply to the client engagement.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

ATI’s websites and offerings may link to or use services operated by independent third parties, including payment processors, community platforms, scheduling providers, email services, analytics providers, affiliate and referral partners, educational platforms, social-media platforms, and file-hosting and collaboration tools.

ATI does not control an independent third party’s privacy practices. Review the third party’s privacy policy before submitting personal information or creating an account.

A link or business relationship does not make ATI responsible for the third party’s independent collection, use, disclosure, security, or retention of information.

14. Data Retention

ATI retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide products and services, maintain accounts and memberships, complete transactions, support active client relationships, fulfill contractual obligations, maintain business, accounting, and tax records, meet legal and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and protect legal rights.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, applicable agreements, and legal requirements.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, ATI may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

15. Data Security

ATI uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.

Safeguards may include access controls, password protections, account authentication, secure service providers, limited access based on business need, software and system updates, backup and recovery practices, security monitoring, and confidentiality requirements.

No website, network, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your passwords, devices, and account credentials and for notifying ATI if you suspect unauthorized activity.

16. Data Incidents

If ATI becomes aware of a data incident affecting personal information, ATI will investigate and take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature and scope of the incident.

ATI will provide legally required notifications to affected individuals, clients, regulators, or other parties when applicable.

When ATI processes information on behalf of a client, incident response and notification responsibilities may also be governed by the applicable client agreement.

17. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request:

  • Confirmation that ATI processes your personal information
  • Access to personal information ATI maintains about you
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of qualifying information
  • A portable copy of qualifying information
  • Information about categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information
  • An opt-out of qualifying sales, sharing, or targeted advertising
  • Restriction or limitation of certain processing
  • Withdrawal of consent when processing relies on consent
  • An appeal of certain privacy-request decisions

These rights are not absolute. ATI may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when information must be retained for security, fraud prevention, transactions, contracts, legal compliance, or legal claims.

ATI will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

18. Submitting a Privacy Request

To submit a privacy request, email support@alwaysthankfulinc.com.

Include your full name, email address, relationship with ATI, type of request, and enough information to help ATI locate the relevant records.

Do not send copies of government identification through ordinary email unless ATI specifically requests an appropriate verification method.

ATI may request additional information to verify your identity and protect information from unauthorized disclosure. If ATI cannot reasonably verify your identity or authority, ATI may be unable to complete the request.

19. Authorized Agents and Appeals

Where permitted by law, you may authorize another person to submit a privacy request for you.

ATI may request proof of the agent’s authority and may contact you directly to verify the request.

If applicable law gives you the right to appeal ATI’s decision concerning a privacy request, submit the appeal to support@alwaysthankfulinc.com and identify the original request and the reason for the appeal.

20. Opt-Out Preference Signals and Do Not Track

Some browsers and devices allow users to send privacy preference signals, including Global Privacy Control signals or Do Not Track settings.

ATI will process legally recognized opt-out preference signals to the extent required by applicable law and supported by ATI’s website technology.

Because there is not one universally accepted standard for every Do Not Track signal, ATI may not respond to every browser setting unless required by law. You may also contact support@alwaysthankfulinc.com regarding applicable opt-out rights.

21. Children’s Privacy

ATI’s websites, products, services, memberships, and communities are intended for adults age 18 and older.

ATI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to ATI, contact support@alwaysthankfulinc.com so ATI can review the information and delete it when appropriate.

22. International Users

ATI is based in the United States.

If you access ATI’s websites or services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or another location where ATI’s service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

ATI will address international data obligations when they apply to a specific service, client engagement, or processing activity.

23. Business Transfers

If ATI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, personal information may be reviewed, disclosed, or transferred as part of that transaction.

Any recipient will remain subject to applicable legal obligations concerning the information.

24. Changes to This Privacy Policy

ATI may update this Privacy Policy when its services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations change.

The revised “Last Updated” date will appear at the top of this page. When appropriate, ATI may also provide notice through its website, email, customer account, or community.

Your continued use of ATI’s websites or services after an updated Privacy Policy takes effect acknowledges the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
